I love the using a Prowler Sled in my training! Prowler runs are one of my favorite total-body exercises for increasing strength, conditioning, and shifting body fat. However, not everyone can afford to buy a Prowler and others just don’t have the storage space.
So what I did with the Boot Camp this morning was to use a tyre instead. It can be kept outside, transported easily and best of all you can pick one up for FREE!
We worked in pairs for set time intervals; partner 1 ran the tyre out while partner 2 performed Kettlebell swings. Once partner 1 had ran the distance, we swapped and partner 2 ran the tyre out while partner 1 did the KB Swings. Aim to complete as many rounds as you can in 5 min intervals.
The tyre sled intervals is simple but give a very intense effective workout. It’s also an excellent way to add some variety to your training. It will also help you add a new, fun, and challenging element to your traditional leg workout at the gym.
